The depraved WIP. Just getting the base coat started, and I have a few more hours of sculpting before he is done. The Move has stopped all production for me.

Here is the chamberlain all finished up (for the most part) probably gonna go in and tweak a few things here and there, but other than that... DONE!!! so a few insider secrets... the details on the "cloak" on his back... normal map, same with the cuff and spikes, everything else is high rez sculpt toppin out at 5,621,560 polys. No worries, my beast of a computer handled it pretty darn well. BINGO! BANGO! BONGO!

So here is what I've been workin on for the past couple days... Been working out an idea for the fairy tales challenge. Thinking something along the lines of Red as a amazonian warrior or some sort of warrior chick. You may notice shes not wearin pants... thats cuz I hav'nt figured out what to have her wearing, or maybe I should leave it, giggity ;). Also decided to finish up some of the older stuff I promised to finish all those months ago, starting with Ol' Dafty McPunkbot here... as ya'll can see I got the jacket and belt goin. thiking I might do the zippers as part of the texture, or perhaps use the vector displacement in Muddy... tried making geo and it just doesn't read well(buzzing)

So far, so good. Took the 'ol gal up to level 3 in Muddy, she's getting closer. I think she'll really come together at level 5 or 6. I've been pretty strict on pushing each level limit as far as it can go so the economy should pay off; I should be able to paint it- with a good amount of layers. UVs were done in Headus. I'm really thinking hair in another program would really make this a good bust shot. We'll see.
Dark Crystal Aughra is coming along slowly but surely. Haven't had all the time in the world, but I'm a DC (Dark Crystal) fan, so at least I'm into this sculpt. The base mesh was made in Maya with painfully simple indications of eye and mouth holes. The sculpt, at Level 1, is on the left, it's relatively close to the reference, and it's not clocking in at a high amount of faces- at that, so the detailing will definitely be afforded enough overhead, resources wise. I'll do what I can for the hair although I'm thinking this is a candidate for hair application in ReLight (!) what with hair being easier to apply in there as opposed to Maya. Will continue.
